Hi. I really enjoyed your story. It was very interesting to see this side of them, as kids with a hint of the potential of the kind of warrior they would be when they get older. Mitsurugi and Taki are one of my favorite characters in the soul calibur series. My sister and I often rival one another with these characters. My main through out the series being Mitsu of coarse.

Your story in the way that you wrote this really felt canonical to their biography. I can totally see this going on in their early history, and at some point, they became rivals with feelings long reserved through out the years. As though when they confront each other, they communicate through their fighting. I remembered certain dialogues between them in several cut scenes, and it seems as though they know one another too well. I always thought there was a spark of something between them, even if the game only shows them as rivals through and through. But, opposites do attract.

The samurai/ninja thing has always been a fascination with me also. I even wrote a fanfic of myself as a ronin samurai, with my sister being a kunoichi. XD Anyway, it was a very interesting story you wrote and I really enjoyed it. I can't imagine why anyone would possibly get mad. The soul calibur world is open for countless possibilities. The series often focus allot on the warriors fighting for the soul swords. Fighting games often tend to have character stories loosely told, for the sake that any character we choose to fave could possibly be the one to obtain either of the swords, or have yet to encounter them. Some character stories are more involve with the soul swords than others, but it's still open for our own favorable interpretations. Fanfiction is a fun way to explore such possibilities, and it's so cool how you expressed you're fandom. It shows in the way that you wrote your story and how you see your favorite characters. Once again, this was a great read. I will totally fave this. ^^
